NFIP Flood Adjuster RCBAP Bootcamp
IN Person Four-Day Residential Condominium Building Association Policy
NFIP RCBAP are very complex adjustments. What you do first has a major impact on how the claim will go. But this complexity is often accompanied by very nice commissions.
Prerequisite:
You must have completed either the NFIP Dwelling Bootcamp, Manufacture Home (Mobile) & Travel Trailer, Small Commercial and Large Commercial prior to registering for this in-person, 4-day RCBAP flood claims adjuster training bootcamp.
Objective:
This course is designed to provide one day of classroom overview of the NFIP RCBAP requirements, one day of field study practices, and two days of estimate writing to enhance the adjuster to become proficient at completing a flood claim and submitting Proof of Loss for the insured.
An NFIP flood claim is commonly known as the Complete Claim Package.
Here are snippets of what is covered during our RCBAP flood claims adjuster training boot camp:
- Day One is an in-depth review of Residential Condominium Association Policy and Preliminary Report requirements
- Day Two is a real “boots-on-the-ground” inspection of high rise greater than 75% residential units.
- Day Three is packed with creating XactimateⓇ token & macro forms and estimating writing
- Day Four is assimilating the information into a Complete Claims Package
Requirements to receive the designation of “Certified Large Loss Flood Adjuster” by the NFIP Five-Day Flood Bootcamp™:
- Submit a Preliminary Report of the inspected properties
- Submit an Advance Payment Request for the inspected properties
- Submit an Underwriting Request from the inspected properties
- Submit one estimate from the inspected properties
- Submit one Complete Claim Package from the inspected properties

Dress:
This Bootcamp is about learning, and you will spend a lot of time in a classroom setting; therefore, dress comfortably but not to offend others. On inspection day, you are required to dress business casual; khakis and a collared shirt.
