2024 NFIP Claims Adjuster Presentation Webinar Dates

It Is Not Training!

It is The Annual Check the Box

Attending the NFIP Adjuster Claims Presentation Webinar is the first step to obtaining your FCN (Flood Control Number) card and gaining authorization to adjust NFIP Flood Losses. If you are an adjuster and want to get or maintain active status to adjust flood losses for FEMA, you are required to attend the NFIP claims presentation each year.

The Presentation webinars are from January to May each year.

If it is your first time attending or you are upgrading your FCN card to RCBAP (Residential Condominium Building Association Policy) or Large Loss you will need to complete the Adjuster Registration Application Form.

The presentation is approved for 6 hours of continuing education credit by the state insurance departments for:

Presentation: 09:00 AM CDT - 03:30 PM CDT

The webinar is interactive; you will be required to answer survey questions throughout the day.  The presentation is approved for 6 hours of continuing education credit by the state insurance departments for:

Alabama          Lousiana

Arkansas         Mississippi

California        North Carolina

Delaware         New Hampshire

Florida             Oklahoma

Georgia            Texas

Indiana            Utah

Kentucky         Wyoming

*NOTE: The NFIP Training will provide CE credit, at no charge, in only 1 state.

For questions about the adjuster authorization process contact the Bureau and Statistical Agent.

NFIP Adjuster Check In App Continuing Education

CE credits will be offered on an optional basis. When you register for a presentation, you’ll be asked if you would like to receive CE credit for the course. Your home state adjuster license number is required for CE. CE credit is provided free of charge.

NFIP Training will file CE credits in your designated home state only. Please register for one presentation only.

The FCN designation, however, does not make you a flood adjuster!

Are you familiar with:

The 3 Standard Flood Insurance Policy Forms?

The difference between a Pre- vs. a Post-FIRM building?

How to communicate with the insured based on the NFIP’s requirements?

What ICC is?

The 9 different building types?

The secret to securing more flood claims?

If you answered “no” to 1 or more of those questions, we strongly recommend you learn more about the NFIP Flood Boot Camp Training Course; ONLINE or IN-PERSON.
